Ben & Jerry's have announced a new Birthday Cake flavour and it sounds amazing

The geniuses over at Ben & Jerry’s have come up with a delicious new birthday cake and ice cream hybrid which sounds truly amazing!
The new flavour boasts vanilla cake batter, hints of pink frosting and touches of strawberry swirls! Oh, and there’s also little pieces of actual birthday cake mixed into the creamy goodness.
It’s a full-on party in a tub!
“We love sharing our celebrations here at Ben & Jerry’s, so we decided to create a slice of something extra special,” Ben & Jerry’s Flavour Guru Catherine Goffinet explained.
“Birthday Cake is loaded with everything we love about cake; frosting, strawberry swirl, and moreish mouthfuls of sponge cake pieces too. We think it’s the perfect excuse to celebrate!”
Just to make the new flavour that bit extra appealing – and ease off some of that post-indulgence guilt – all the ingredients in the new ice cream are Fairtrade.

The Birthday Cake flavour is the latest in a number of new releases from the ice cream giant. Last year Ben & Jerry's introduced a new 'topped' range of flavours which had a layer of delicious chocolate layered on top of the ice cream.
Last year they also introduced a non-dairy range of ice creams, which was great news for vegans and those with a dairy intolerance. The non-dairy range includes Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Chunky Monkey and Peanut Butter & Cookies.
