A woman has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a nine-hour stand off at a house in Friskney.

Two 10-year-old boys were stabbed during the incident, both are now in hospital.

Police were called to a property in Fold Hill just before 2pm yesterday (29th November) and spoke to the person living in the house.

From around 4.30pm specially-trained officers negotiated with a woman inside the property, and this continued until 1am this morning (30th November) when police forced their way into the property

Two boys, both aged 10 years old, were stabbed during the incident. Both have been taken to hospital, but its thought neither have life-threatening injuries.

A 39-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
