Wigan Warriors are one win away from the quadruple, as they prepare to take on Grand Final debutants Hull KR this evening.

Excitement is building ahead of the history-making clash at Old Trafford, with thousands of Cherry and White fans preparing for kick-off.

Warriors Head Coach Matt Peet said: “There’s real momentum behind our Club at the moment and the connection between the players and the community is brilliant.

"I’m proud to be a part of it and I hope we can get the performance and result right come Saturday.”

A seventh triumph is at stake for the Cherry and Whites, as they look to cap off a stunning season.

Hooker Kruise Leeming added: “It would mean paying back all the people who have put so much time and effort into me. If we can lift that fourth trophy collectively then we can look at each other knowing the lows we’ve been through across the season has been worth it.”

Wigan are just 80 minutes away from achieving the quadruple - the World Club Challenge, Challenge Cup, League Leaders' Shield and Super League Grand Final - something no side in the Super League era has done.

Already this season, Wigan and Hull KR have met three times - both earning a win in the Super League, while while Warriors secured victory in the Challenge Cup semi-final in May.
