Twitter was on fire last night, when over 150,000 people tuned into an 18 year-old's Twitter Space to sing a bit of karaoke.

From Nigel Farage and Barack Obama to England football team and KSI, hundreds of thousands of people were all tuned in as Twitter users from across the globe took it turn by turn to sing a rendition of a song of their choice.

But England international Declan Rice stole the show when he joined the group to sing his own rendition of Vanilla Ice's 1990 classic 'Ice Ice Baby'.

The West Ham midfielder had 76,000 listeners in stitches after he changed the words to 'Rice Rice Baby'.

What is a Twitter Space?

A Twitter Space is a relatively new feature on Twitter that allows users to join what is essentially a group call.

The host of the call can control who can talk, with users being able to request to speak up.

What is Sing Your Dialect?

18 year-old Jacob McLaughlin united Twitter through the power of karaoke in his #singyourdialect Twitter Space.

It all started on Monday night (22nd Nov) to a crowd of around 1,000 people.

TV presenter Rylan Clark-Neal was the first celebrity to sing on the call, which lead to 48,000 listening in at the peak of Monday night as rapper Lethal Bizzle sang his rendition of 'Wonderwall'.

On Monday night alone, 150,000 people tuned in to listen to the stream.

Last night there was an array of celebrities tuning in to sing, from youtuber Chunkz to West Ham's Declan Rice.

Host Jacob has said that he will run the event every Tuesday and Sunday from 7pm.

The karaoke party made many Twitter users' nights, with one user, known as Alexei, wrote: "Tonight Nigel Farage, KSI, Declan Rice and Nando's watched Shrewsbury Town sing ABBA, Twitter has peaked."
