It's understood the Queen has decided to celebrate Christmas in Windsor rather than travel to Sandringham, in West Norfolk.

There will be family visiting Windsor over the Christmas period, and sensible precautions and all appropriate guidelines will be followed.
Last week, she cancelled her traditional pre-Christmas lunch for similar reasons.
