MPs to vote on part of new Brexit deal in Parliament

MPs will get their first chance to vote on The Prime Minister's new Brexit deal later.
Today’s vote in Parliament centres on the Stormont Brake aspect of the Windsor Framework.
The “brake” is designed to give Stormont politicians more say over EU laws in Northern Ireland.
Rishi Sunak is expected to get the support he needs, though it could be a hollow victory.
The DUP have already said they will vote against the government, while there’s also been scathing criticism from hard-line Tory Brexiteer group the ERG.
Boris Johnson announced this morning that he’ll vote against the deal in the Commons later.
In a statement the former Prime Minister said, "The proposed arrangements would mean either that Northern Ireland remained captured by the EU legal order - and was increasingly divergent from the rest of the UK - or they would mean that the whole of the UK was unable properly to diverge and take advantage of Brexit.”
"That is not acceptable. I will be voting against the proposed arrangements today.”
"Instead, the best course of action is to proceed with the Northern Ireland Protocol Bill, and make sure that we take back control."
Tory whips are reportedly confident of containing party rebels - meanwhile Labour's promising to back the government.
