Battle between Premier League's top two teams ends level

Two of the Premier League's top teams have taken each other on in a tense game that ended with both clubs drawing level.
Liverpool FC travelled to Manchester City's Etihad Stadium on Saturday (November 25th) as both teams vie to come out on top of the table.
Both teams had a lot to lose with a coveted first place at the league table was at stake. Liverpool fans flocked to the stadium to make their voices heard.
As the game kicked off, fans on both sides took on the frosty weather to support their club, with plenty of noise being heard by away fans as the game kicked off.
Manchester City striker Erling Haaland kept control of the ball throughout the course of the game, managing to score a goal in the first half after Alisson fumbled a kick towards the City goal, which allowed star player Haaland to kick the ball into the back of the net.
Haaland's score against Liverpool came with an added celebration, as the Norwegian footballer broke a record as he landed his 50th goal for the club in 48 games, much to the fanfare of supporters.
However, Manchester City's delight would be short lived, as Trent Alexander-Arnold would chip the ball into City's goal in a late equaliser, after being set up by teammate Mo Salah.
Despite the tense match between the two sides, things were interrupted when a plane flew above the stadium, turning fan's eyes upwards and taking away attention from the game.
Paid for by Everton fans, the plane flew a banner across the stadium that read "PREMIER LEAGUE = CORRUPT", in response to the club's controversial ten-point docking by the Football Association.
After eight minutes of added time, neither Manchester City nor Liverpool were able to score another goal, and at full-time, the final score was 1-1.
Both Manchester City and Liverpool remain tightly close at the top of the scoreboard as result of the game.
Manchester City continue to stay on top with a total of 29 points; however, Liverpool remain breathing down the Citizens' necks as the Reds currently have 28 points.
Attention now turns to both teams' next games, as Manchester City takes on Tottenham Hotspurs next Sunday (December 3).
On the same day, challengers Liverpool are to take on Fulham at home, as vital points to take the team to the top of the league.
