Met Police investigating anti-semitic messages written into golf bunkers
The messages come as Jewish people celebrate Yom Kippur

Metropolitan Police officers have launched an investigation after anti-semitic messages were written into golf bunkers in west London.
Officers were first alerted to the messages that had been raked into the bunkers at Hendon Golf Club on Friday evening (October 11th).
As well as this, other property from the golf club had been damaged, with the association raising the issue with police soon after.
In a statement, the Met Police's branch in Barnet confirmed that they were launching enquiries into the incident, which they said was a "racially aggravated hate crime".
Detective Chief Inspector Daniel Branch from the force said: "We are aware of the shock and distress that this incident has caused, especially coming at a time when the Jewish community is celebrating Yom Kippur.
"The incident is being investigated as a racially aggravated hate crime and work is ongoing, led by officers from the North West Community Safety Unit, to identify and arrest whoever is responsible for this."
He added that police have visited the course to support the club and its members, as well as speaking with local community leaders to keep them updated on the investigation.
Branch finished by appealing to those who may have been in the area at the time of the incident to get in touch as quickly as possible.
