Karen Liu aka "Karenlyl", a Greatest Hits Radio journalist from Newcastle says: "The games were really intense. We actually lost our best-of-one against Malaysia in the morning. It did make us feel a bit sad but we just had to mentally reset because we knew we had a semi final best-of-three to play"

"We knew that if we won that, then we would have a rematch with Malaysia in the Grand Finals and I think that's what we really wanted. I think we can do it, It will be a best-of-three on Saturday. We will do our absolute best to win gold."

Karen adds: "We knew coming into this competition, that, Malaysia was going to be one of the best teams. we genuinely thought we wouldn't get this far. we knew that we would get a medal, but we thought it would've been a Bronze. But now, with the Grand Finals on Saturday, even if we lose, which we won't, we're guaranteed a silver."

"Its just insane that out of all the nations in the Commonwealth, we're basically top two"
