ST MIRREN REJECT BID FOR MCLEAN St Mirren have confirmed they rejected a bid for Kenny McLean from Fleetwood Town. But the Scottish Premiership club have lost a player after Adam Drury returned to Manchester City following a loan spell. Reports claimed that mid-table Sky Bet League One side Fleetwood had made a bid of around £150,000 for midfielder McLean. The club said in a brief statement: "Further to media reports at the weekend it has been confirmed today that St Mirren Football Club have rejected an offer for player Kenny McLean from English League One side Fleetwood Town Football Club as the offer does not come close to the club's valuation of the player." McLean, who turns 23 this week, is approaching 150 first-team appearances for St Mirren and has netted five goals this season. The Scotland Under-21 international signed a two-year contract in the summer after initially looking like he might move on from Paisley. Drury scored three goals in 16 appearances for St Mirren but the club confirmed he, like his team-mate Ellis Plummer last week, had gone back to City following the end of his loan spell.
