A 6-0 thrashing saw the Jags crash out of the League Cup at Celtic Park in October in what was their worst result of the season so far. But, rather than fear a rematch with the Hoops, Seaborne cannot wait to test himself against the top team in the country again. The centre-half said: "I'm looking forward to it. As a player, you look forward to the big games. "Celtic are expected to win so we can go there and have a right go. "It's a great game to play in. We have played the likes of Aberdeen and Dundee United but Celtic are the big team in the league and it's good to put yourself up against the best. "We had a man sent-off and lost 6-0 the last time so that game has been the biggest test so far. "But that game is gone now. We are going there in different circumstances and it's a different competition. "We can go there and enjoy it and put in a decent performance." John Guidetti helped himself to a hat-trick in that 6-0 clash and Seaborne expects the Hoops striker to be the danger man again in Wednesday's Scottish Premiership match. He said: "He's on a decent run of form and has scored a few goals recently. He's done really well and he's a good footballer. "They've got a lot of good players in their team so whoever they play up front - whether it's him or someone else - they've got decent strikers and decent players all over the park." However, Seaborne is more interested in Thistle and would love to see them put together a run of results after a morale-boosting Scottish Cup win over Hamilton on Saturday. He said: "A steady run of form is what we are aiming for. It's been a bit up and down so far this season. "But hopefully we can build on the Hamilton win at the weekend. "We will go to Celtic Park full of confidence and hopefully we can give a good account of ourselves."
