Ross County boss Jim McIntyre sees draw at Dundee as two points dropped

Manager Jim McIntyre was left frustrated as his Ross County team failed to make their dominance count in the goalless Premiership draw with Dundee.

County had Liam Boyce's 48th minute header disallowed, while home goalkeeper Scott Bain saved substitute Alex Schalk's late header.

McIntyre said: I'm not happy with a point, with what we put into the game.

So from that side of things we're disappointed because I felt what we created much more than Dundee.

I'm pleased that it keeps the unbeaten run going in that sense. We were excellent and the better side throughout - but we just didn't have a cutting edge about us in the final third.

Dundee had one really good chance of note when Marcus Haber was clean through - but that was about it.

My players put a lot into the game and passed the ball really well and got into some very good situations.

That can happen in football - but we're still disappointed at not winning the match.''

Meanwhile, Dundee manager Paul Hartley was pleased not to have lost the Dens Park contest.

He said: It was quite a frantic game at times.

We had some good situations in the first half and Marcus Haber probably should have scored near the end, while Bain keeps us in it at the other end.

You expect Marcus to hit the target but that happens so we're not going to be too critical. The pleasing thing for me was to keep a clean sheet.

It's very tight in the league just now and I don't think we're going to see classy games between now and the end of the season.''
