Mohsni and Boyd cited
Rangers duo Bilel Mohsni and Kris Boyd have both been issued with notices of complaints by new Scottish Football Association compliance officer Tony McGlennan.
Both players were involved in off-the-ball incidents during Monday night's surprise 3-1 defeat to Scottish Championship rivals Hibernian at Ibrox.
Now they have each been offered two-match bans after being accused of "violent conduct''.
Defender Mohsni - who appeared to argue with his own supporters as he headed down the tunnel at half-time - has been cited after he appear to swing an arm at Liam Fontaine.
The Tunisian lashed out after the Hibs defender knocked the ball out of his hands as he raced back to the half-way line following Nicky Law's consolation goal for the hosts after 55 minutes.
Striker Boyd then went head-to-head with Jordan Foster after a clash in the Hibs box and appeared to butt his opponent.
Both have been given until Thursday to accept their bans or face a principal hearing on October 9.
McGlennan is in his first week as the SFA's new disciplinary chief after replacing Vincent Lunny.
