McFadden was sent off for a second booking five minutes from the end of Saints' 1-0 Scottish Premiership defeat at home to Accies on Sunday and appeared to react to the goading visiting fans as he left the pitch. The 31-year-old has been charged under disciplinary Rule 200 - "That in the above match you made an offensive gesture" - and has been offered a fixed two-match ban. St Johnstone have until 3pm on Wednesday to respond with the principal hearing date scheduled for the following day. Cummings has been charged under the same rule for an alleged gesture he made in the derby game against Hearts at Tynecastle on Saturday. The 19-year-old striker was booked for his celebrations after scoring in the 1-1 draw and could be punished further. He has been offered a one-match ban, effective immediately. The Championship leaders also have until Wednesday afternoon to respond, with the principal hearing the following day. Meanwhile, Motherwell's Stephen McManus has appealed his late sending-off in the 2-0 defeat by Aberdeen at Fir Park on Sunday. The Well defender was sent packing by referee Willie Collum after blocking a shot on the goal-line, with Adam Rooney scored the resulting penalty. The Scottish FA's fast track system will see his appeal heard on Thursday.
