Ross County fought back from behind to snatch all three points against Hamilton in the Premiership. It was Accies who took the lead through Gramoz Kurtaj after dominating for most of the first half at New Douglas Park. However, Craig Curran levelled for County after the break, before late goals from Stewart Murdoch and Liam Boyce allowed the visitors to head back to the Highlands with maximum points. Hamilton enjoyed the best of the opening exchanges and could have been ahead after just a few minutes. Dougie Imrie released Kurtaj into the box and he unleashed a shot from a tight angle that was blocked at the near post by goalkeeper Scott Fox. The home side were threatening again when Ali Crawford found Ziggy Gordon in plenty of space with a lovely diagonal ball across the pitch. The full-back attempted to set up the shot for the onrushing Carlton Morris but Chris Robertson snuffed out the danger before the striker could connect. Accies' early pressure paid off when they surged into the lead after 27 minutes. Imrie's pass picked out Morris on the left flank and he whipped a teasing ball across the face of goal for Kurtaj to lash home from six yards. County emerged for the second half clearly determined to haul themselves back into the game and they could have restored parity within a minute of the restart. Curran's back-heeled pass found Jonathan Franks, who whipped a tempting ball into the box. Jamie Reckord connected with the header but he was unable to keep the ball down and on target and Michael McGovern was untroubled in the Accies goal. Martin Woods then tried his luck with a shot from the edge of the area that was tipped over by the alert McGovern. But the visitors were back on level terms after 58 minutes. Jackson Irvine saw his ferocious effort crash off the crossbar and the rebound fell kindly for Curran to rifle home. Hamilton quickly tried to restore their lead and Kurtaj collected a pass from Imrie before having a go at goal but his effort was weak and easily gathered by Fox. Crawford then went to ground under pressure from Woods but there was no penalty award from referee Willie Collum. Accies continued to press for a winner and Kurtaj was frustrated when his fierce effort was swiped over one-handed by the County keeper. But it was County who snatched all three points when Murdoch slammed home in off the underside of the crossbar from the corner of the six yard box with just three minutes to go - and five minutes after coming off the bench. And they made sure of the victory when Boyce met Michael Gardyne's cutback before dispatching into the back of the net in the final minute.
