Bannigan back at Firhill

Stuart Bannigan has re-signed for Partick Thistle after his Firhill career looked over.

The 23-year-old looked set to move on this summer before a knee injury threw his plans into uncertainty in March.

The midfielder then announced he was leaving the club, but has now signed a two-year contract to continue his career with the Jags.

The former Scotland Under-21 international has made 166 appearances for Thistle and will add to that tally soon with his return to fitness expected to be imminent.
