Mikel Arteta gives Kieran Tierney injury update
The Arsenal boss says his latest injury is "not looking good"
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta admits Kieran Tierney's latest injury is "not looking good" with reports suggesting his season could be over.
The 24-year old could be a doubt for Scotland's World Cup play-offs in June.
Tierney returned from international duty last week with a knee issue and sat out of Arsenal's disappointing 3-0 defeat to Crystal Palace on Monday night.
Following the match, Arteta said: "He came back from international duty and felt something wrong in his knee.
"There is some damage there. We will hopefully know more on Tuesday but it's not looking good."
"He is seeing the specialist on Tuesday and we will know more about the extent of the injury but the feeling that he had wasn't really positive and what the scan showed either.
"We have to wait and see what happens."
Steve Clarke's side are expected to face Ukraine in their rearranged World Cup play-off semi-final in June.
Ukraine's visit to Hampden Park was postponed due to Russia's invasion of the country.
Should Scotland progress, they'll face Wales in the play-off final to determine who qualifies for the World Cup in Qatar later this year.
