Woman robbed on Garthdee Road

Police Scotland has appealed for witnesses following the report of an alleged robbery on a 20 year old woman in the Garthdee area of Aberdeen.

The incident happened at around 1pm on Sunday, 5th March, 2017, at Garthdee Road, near to the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen.

Police are looking to trace a second woman in relation to this incident. She is described as white, in her early 20s and was wearing casual clothing.

Detective Constable James Anderson said: "We are urging anyone who may have been in the area around the time and seen anything suspicious to contact police as soon as possible.

"The woman suffered superficial facial injuries as a result of the incident and her personal property was taken. Fortunately she was not seriously injured but has understandably been upset.

"Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101."
