Woman Injured In Aberdeen House Fire

A woman has been treated for the effects of smoke and shock following a house fire in Aberdeen this afternoon.

The blaze started in the kitchen of a property on Windford Square in the Sheddocksley area of the city.

Fire crews were called to the scene at 1:40pm, but the fire was out by the time they got there.

Firefighters had to rescue a dog from the home, who was then given oxygen.
