A woman's appeared in court accused of murdering an Aberdeen pensioner.
Police found 65 year old Alan Cowie's body in a flat in Tillydrone's Alexander Terrace on Wednesday morning.
His family say they're shocked and saddened by his sudden death.
Late last night, officers charged a woman over his death.
Sharyn Stewart appeared at the city's sheriff court today, charged with murder, attempted murder and attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
The 52 year old entered no plea or declaration - she was remanded in custody ahead of a further appearance within the next 8 days.
