A woman's allegedly been assaulted in Aberdeen city centre.
The incident is said to have taken place on Carmelite Lane in the early hours of the morning on Monday 1st May.
Police say they've detained a man who is assisting them with their enquiries.
They've asked for anyone who was in the area at the time to get in touch.
