Police look for witnesses of A92 crash
The incident near Blackdog caused the road to be closed for around 3 hours.
Road Policing Officers are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious road traffic collision on the A92 on Monday, 12th July 2021.
Police and Ambulance were called to attend a report of a one vehicle road traffic collision on the A92 at Blackdog, Aberdeenshire about 5.00pm on Monday, 12th of July whereby a black Nissan Primera had been travelling north towards Blackdog when it crashed.
The 22 year old driver sustained minor injuries and the 28 year old passenger was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.
Constable Milne of the Road Policing Unit said: “This was a serious crash and our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding this incident. The road was closed for approximately three hours to allow Road Policing Officers to carry out their enquiries at the scene and recover the vehicle involved.
“I am appealing for information from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or saw the black Nissan Primera prior to the collision, to come forward and speak to Police.
“If there was anyone in the area who has dash-cam footage of the vehicle or the collision, I would also ask that you get in touch with Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 2647 of the 12th of July 2021.”
