Watch : reaction to Rubislaw Quarry development rejection

Councillors have said no by 7 votes to 2 to hundreds of luxury flats overlooking Rubislaw Quarry - despite being recommended for approval.

There's been lots of local opposition to the plans - and there was a protest there on Tuesday night.

Hugh Black owns part of the historic landmark - he's got his own plans for a Heritage Centre there.

In a statement, developers Aurora & Carttera say they're disappointed at the outcome and are considering their options before submitting an appeal.
