Puzzle-solving octopus causes a stir in the North of Scotland

Macduff Marine Aquarium has said goodbye to a popular puzzle-solving octopus.

Visitors have been watching the eight-tentacled creature navigating mazes and working out puzzles.

It was donated to the North Scotland attraction by fishermen who caught her at Lossiemouth.

But with six-months of its lifespan left, the animal's been released into the Moray Firth to find a male companion to help make some babies.
