New statistics released today shows that across the country 29 lives were saved by the service, which was launched over 1,000 times.
Recentlty, Aberdeen's crew rocket propelled lines to help SSE restore power after Storm Frank.
Lat year, the local lifeboat team launched 30 times and saved three people.
