Police investigating the theft of an ATM from an Aberdeenshire supermarket are keen to trace a campervan and two cars seen in the area.
Thieves escaped with a five-figure sum after stealing the machine from a wall at the Morrisons store on North Deeside Road in Banchory at around 3am on January 21.
Police want to trace three vehicles, all of which were believed to have false registration plates.
They are a white Fiat Ducatto campervan displaying the plates HF03 ZTD, a blue BMW 135i car with the plates GP08 HWO and a blue Audi RS4 estate car displaying the registration KX13 KNH.
Detective Inspector Stewart Mackie, who is leading the investigation, said: We are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen these cars in the area between the 18th and the 21st of January.
The Ducatto campervan in particular is likely to catch someone's attention as it's a distinctive type of vehicle.
Members of the public who may have information about these vehicles are asked to contact police on 101 or alternatively they can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if they wish to remain anonymous.''
