WATCH: Former John Lewis Aberdeen opens as vaccine centre
Officials say it could be utilised for vaccines of various kinds for years to come
The former John Lewis building in Aberdeen city centre has officially opened as a vaccine clinic.
It'll be used primarily for Covid jabs, but immunization for things like flu and shingles is set to be offered there too.
Up to 2,000 vaccines could be administered at the clinic in one day at max capacity, with the entire ground floor of the former department store re-purposed.
Officials believe it could be in service for years, with continued boosters for Covid vaccinations expected.
