Two teenagers arrested after Fraserburgh drugs haul

An 18 year old man has been charged over a haul of heroin and crack cocaine - a second has been charged with perverting the course of justice

An 18 year old man has been charged over a haul of heroin and crack cocaine in Fraserburgh with a street value of almost £6,000.

The seizure took place on Thursday 22nd September in the town centre area.

A second 18 year man was also charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice.

A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and both men will appear at Peterhead Sheriff Court today.

Constable Grant James of the North East Division Proactive Unit, said: "This recovery was an intelligence led investigation under the ongoing Operation Aspen which is a sustained and concentrated operation relating to all Drug Activity in the North East of Scotland. This recovery illustrates the commitment to tackling controlled drugs and organised crime in our Policing area.
