Two pedestrians in hospital after car crashes outside Aberdeen shops

Two men have been taken to hospital after being struck by a car outside a shopping centre in Aberdeen.

Emergency services received reports of a car crashing into two male pedestrians on Summerhill Court, near Lang Stracht, at around 12.40pm on Wednesday.

The two men, aged 71 and 68, were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.

No one else was injured and enquiries are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 12.40pm on Wednesday, 25 September, 2024, we were called to a report of a car crashing into two male pedestrians on Summerhill Court, Aberdeen.

"Emergency services attended and the pedestrians, aged 71 and 68, were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.

"There are no other reported injuries.

"Enquiries are ongoing."
