Two men for court after city centre drugs haul

Two men are expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court after drugs worth thousands were found in the city centre yesterday.

Heroin and crack cocaine with an estimated street value of approximately £4360 was recovered during a raid at a property in Holburn Street area on Monday 16th April 2018.

Two men aged 37 and 20 are expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today, Tuesday 17 April 2018, in relation to alleged drugs offences.

Detective Constable Nichola Wallace of Police Scotland's CID Proactive Team based in Aberdeen said: "Police Scotland is committed to tackling drug misuse in our communities. We rely on information from the public to help identify where, when and who are committing crimes in our area and so I would always encourage anyone who notices any unusual behaviour or goings on in their community to call us with details.
