Two men to face charges over supermarket disturbance

Two men have been charged following a disturbance at an Aberdeen supermarket.

Two men have been charged following a disturbance at an Aberdeen supermarket.

The incident happened at about 9pm on Tuesday in the car park of the newly-opened Aldi supermarket in Foresterhill Road, Cornhill.

A man was injured following the incident and had been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

A silver car with a smashed rear passenger window was reportedly sealed off at the scene with two police vans, three police cars and a dog unit in attendance.

Two men aged 22 and 23 have been charged and are expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court, police said.
