Two people have been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infimary after a crash which closed the A90 at rush hour this morning.

It happened near northbound near the Muchalls Bend at around 7:30am.

Three vehicles were involved in the accident, and one person had to be cut free from the wreckage.

The Scottish Ambulance service don't know the extent of their injuries.

Earlier the police said there weren't believed to be any serious injuries.

The A90 has since been re-opened, but it caused long delays for commuters heading into work from the south of the city.
