Two people are due in court after cannabis worth thousands was seized in Aberdeen.

Police carried out a raid in Cummings Park Circle on Friday 19th January after they got a tip off - finding the drugs with a street value topping £6,000.

A 54 year old woman and a 47 year old man have been charged in connection.

Detective Constable Kayleigh McLean said: "We are committed to disrupting the illegal supply of drugs to our communities and will continue to work with partners to prevent the misery and harm this criminality can cause.

"We rely on support and information from members of the public and if you have any information regarding an individual or individuals who may be involved in drugs, please contact Police Scotland on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 if you would prefer to remain anonymous."
