Two charged over cannabis cultivation in Laurencekirk

Two people have been arrested in connection with the cultivation of cannabis in the Laurencekirk area.

Police say it had a potential street value of around £17,000.

A 25-year-old man and 23-year-old woman are expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court at a later date.

Investigating officer PC Connon said: "We will continue to act on information provided to us by the community and would encourage anyone with information to come forward."
