Two Aberdeenshire Drug Dealers Facing Lengthy Prison Sentences

Two drug dealers who were caught with heroin and cocaine with a total street value of more than £67,000 are facing lengthy prison sentences.

Irene Nicolson, 45, and James Witham, 31, were arrested after police raided the mother of two's house in New Pitsligo, Aberdeenshire, on April 10 2014.

The High Court in Edinburgh heard on Monday how detectives found heroin with a maximum street value of £63,920.

Officers also found cocaine with a maximum street value of £3,200 in the house.

The story emerged after Nicolson pleaded guilty to being involved in the supply of narcotics on April 10 2014.

The pair, who have previous convictions for drugs offences, pleaded guilty before judge Lord Glennie who deferred sentence on them for the court to obtain reports.

Both Nicolson and Witham will be sentenced at the High Court in Edinburgh on July 28 2015.
