Tributes have been paid to two "beautiful, kind, loving" sisters who died in a flat fire in Aberdeen on Monday night.
24-year-old Shikshya and 28-year-old Aanchal Subedi lived together with their cat, who also died in the fire.
Emergency services were called a block of flats on Back Hilton Road at around 6pm on Monday.
Police confirmed on Tuesday that two women were pronounced dead at the scene.
A fundraiser has been set up by Michelle Munro, who is the friend of Susan Subedi - their eldest sister.
Mrs Munro is hoping to raise funds for the family to "give them the best send off they deserve".
"Two kind, beautiful loving girls"
On the fundraising page, Michelle wrote: "No one should have to bury their child, let alone two.
"I am seeking the generosity and kindness of the public to help raise funds to give them the best send off they deserve for these 2 beautiful, kind, loving girls.
"To help my best friends family say their prayers and give them the funeral they deserve.
"If you can please spare any funds towards this, it would be greatly appreciated and really help the family at this horrific time."
Over £9,000 has been donated to the fundraiser.
Five people had to be rescued by firefighters and treated by paramedics on scene, whilst neighbouring homes were evacuated or urged to keep windows closed.
A baby was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary as a precaution but had later been discharged.
A joint investigation with Police Scotland and Scottish Fire and Rescue Service remains ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
