Transition Extreme Opens New Skate Park

An extreme sports centre has opened the doors to its brand new £120,000 skate park.

The state of the art facilities allow people to in-line skate, skateboard and BMX all under one roof, with the most modern equipment.

The centre, which opened in 2007, is known for providing vunerable youngsters with a platform to express themselves.

The centre hopes that the new facilities paired with enthusiastic instructors, can encourage Aberdonians of all ages and abilities to try out the sport.
