Towie braced for gold rush

Could there soon be a gold rush in an Aberdeenshire village? A major deal's been signed to search for the precious metal around Towie Last October exploration firm Green Ore got good results from two quarry sites near the village. Now they're launching a joint venture with Turkish company Koza to look for more deposits. Gold has been found in small quantities in that part of Aberdeenshire for years.
