Generators and tools worth nearly £10,000 have been stolen from the AWPR work site at Dyce.

They were taken between the afternoon of Saturday July 29, 2017, and the morning of Sunday, July 30.

Two mobile generators have been reported stolen along with numerous hand tools taken from a tool chest that was forced open.

PC Barbara McKenzie, who is leading enquiries, said: "I would appeal to anyone who saw any suspicious activity, people or vehicles in the area at the time to please get in touch as our investigation continues. The site may be off-road, however the routes in the vicinity are widely used and it could be you saw something that could help.

"A great deal of effort would have gone into gaining access to the site in the first place before the person - or people - responsible took the items in question. It won't be tolerated.

"Anyone with information should contact Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 if you would prefer to remain anonymous."
