Three arrested after orange paint thrown over Aberdeen Shell offices

Three people in their twenties have been arrested after the Aberdeen offices which house Shell and Barclays bank had orange paint thrown over them.

The building was reportedly targeted by environmental activists from Just Stop Oil just after midday today.

A Police Scotland spokesperson told Northsound News: “We were made aware of paint thrown at a building on Union Street in Aberdeen shortly after 12.05pm on Monday, 14 November.

“Officers from Aberdeen city centre attended and three people, aged 24, 23 and 22 have been arrested in connection with the incident.

“Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with any further information can call 101, quoting reference 1259 of 14 November.”
