Thousands stolen from Aberdeenshire garage

An Aberdeenshire garage has been broken into, with thousands of pounds stolen.

It was reported at Kemnay Autobody on Kemnay Road in Inverurie on Wednesday morning, 6th December. It’s thought thieves got in overnight.

A low four-figure sum of cash was stolen.

Detective Constable Matt McCall said: "Kemnay Autobody was targeted overnight between Tuesday and Wednesday and we are appealing for anyone with any knowledge to contact us.

"We would ask that anyone who saw anything unusual or suspicious in the area between the times given contacts us on 101 quoting incident number 0577 of 6/12 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 to remain anonymous."

Police are appealing for witnesses.
