Teenager killed in early morning crash on A90
A 17-year-old boy has died in a road accident.
The teenager was the driver and sole occupant of a grey Honda Civic when it crashed on the A90 about a mile and a half south of Fraserburgh at around 3.10am.
Police Scotland confirmed he died as a result of the collision.
Sergeant Rob Warnock said: First and foremost, my thoughts are obviously with the family and friends of this young man at this tragic time.
I would appeal for anyone who might have seen the vehicle described in the moments leading up to the collision, or has any information about the incident itself, to contact police as we launch an investigation into what happened.''
The A90 has been closed from the Tesco roundabout at Fraserburgh to the B9032 junction leading to Memsie.
