Teenager charged in connection with Ellon jewellery theft

A teenage boy's been charged in connection with a break in at an Ellon jewellers earlier this year.

It happened in March, when thousands of pounds of damage was caused at K&C, with watches and jewellery going missing.

A 17-year-old is being reported to the procurator fiscal over the incident - as well as another reported robbery late last year.

Investigating officer DC Gary Johnston said: "Extensive enquiries into these incidents were carried out and we would like to thank members who assisted us while the investigation was ongoing."
