Teenager charged after human remains allegedly stolen from Aberdeen church graveyard

Police say a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal

A teenager has been arrested and charged after human remains were allegedly stolen from the graveyard of church on Union Street in Aberdeen.

We understand these were later recovered from a garden in Heathryfold Place.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said:

“Following theft from a church in Union Street, Aberdeen, a 17-year-old man was arrested and charged on Wednesday, 3 May, 2023. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
