Teen in court after schoolboy injured in Aberdeen moped collision

A teenage boy's appeared in court in connection with causing injury by dangerous driving - after an 8 year old was badly hurt in Aberdeen at the weekend.

19 year old Paul Jessiman appeared at the city's Sheriff Court this afternoon following the incident on Cornhill Terrace on Sunday. He entered no plea to charges of driving without insurance or a licence, and failing to stop. He was released on bail ahead of a future appearance.

Another teen, 18 year old William Dunlop, admitted driving without a license or insurance at Aberdeen Justice of the Peace Court - he was fined £540.
