Northsound News has this week launched the #TakeTheTime campaign as we investigate the epidemic of loneliness.
Today we're focusing on how loneliness can impact Scotland's elderly.
Figures show over 100,000 older people suffer in silence across the country.
Our reporter Hope Webb sat down with 92-year-old Davie Campbell. He attends a day care centre but can go days without seeing anyone.
