Staff threatened in Aberdeen robbery
Police are appealing for information about the four men who robbed a store at Stocket Parade.
About 7.50pm on Tuesday 22 November 2016 four robbers entered Stocket Parade Store and threatened staff within. The males made off with quantity of cash and consumables.
Detective Inspector Lee Jardine said: "Four male suspects entered the shop a short time before 8.00pm. All were wearing dark clothing and had their faces covered.
"The suspects threatened staff with weapons before running from the shop. We believe at this time that the suspects entered a nearby vehicle before making off.
"About 8.20 pm a grey Hyundai i30 registration MW60 FPE was discovered ablaze on Barvas Walk, Aberdeen and we are currently investigating if these incidents are linked. This vehicle was previously stolen from an address on 21 November 2016.
"Staff at Stocket Parade Store were uninjured during the incident but were left badly shaken."
The four suspects are believed to be in their late teens or early 20's.
Suspect 1 was wearing a dark hooded jacket with grey tracksuit trousers and grey trainers.
Suspect 2 was wearing a black hooded jumper with a logo on the chest with black tracksuit trousers, black gloves and black trainers.
Suspect 3 was wearing a blue hooded jacket with navy tracksuit trousers, grey gloves and dark coloured trainers.
Suspect 4 was wearing a dark coloured tracksuit.
Detective Inspector Jardine added: "An extensive investigation into this incident is underway including house to house enquiries and examination of CCTV.
"I'm appealing for anyone who may have been in the area of Stocket Parade or Barves Walk around the relevant times and who may have seen anyone matching the description of the suspects, or the vehicle in question, to get in touch."
