SNP Sweep Aberdeen City and Shire

The SNP have won all the Westminister seats in the North East of Scotland.

In Aberdeen South, Labour's Dame Anne Begg was beaten by former City Council leader Callum McCaig by more than 7,000 votes.

Aberdeen North's new MP is Kirsty Blackman - Labour MSP Richard Baker came second there.

Former First Minister Alex Salmond took Gordon from the Liberal Democrats with a majority of close to 9,000.

In West Aberdeenshire and Kincardine Stuart Donaldson was elected MP.

And Eilidh Whiteford held on to her Banff and Buchan constituency.
