Six fire crews battled a grass fire at an Aberdeenshire beach on Saturday.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue service received reports of the blaze shortly before 2pm on 22 June.
Several units rushed to the scene including a number of specialist appliances.
Firefighters extinguished the fire and ensured the area was made safe before leaving the scene.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were alerted at 1.55pm on Saturday, 22 June to reports of a grass fire at Rattray Beach, Peterhead.
“Operations Control mobilised six fire appliances and a number of specialist appliances to the scene where crews extinguished the fire.
“Firefighters left after ensuring the area was made safe.”
