Sir Alex in Aberdeen return
Former Aberdeen manager Sir Alex Ferguson will be guest of hounour at the opening of the club's ÂŁ12m community sports hub and training complex at Kingsford.
Fergie, who led The Dons to unprecedented European and domestic success, will open Cormack Park on the 31st of October.
Sir Alex says : “I am very much looking forward to returning to Aberdeen for this important occasion. This will be the first time in its history the club has had its own dedicated training facilities. I would love to have had this at my disposal during my time with Aberdeen ! "
The complex features a training pavilion, groundsmen’s accommodation, three professional training pitches, two floodlit 3G pitches and two grass pitches. There is also outdoor and indoor space for a variety of community-based sporting and recreational activities.
